Lua, what I love most about this piece is: the idea of being unseen as precious as being seen is the sort of truth that makes you pause mid-sentence, spoon halfway to your mouth. Thank you for the gift of reminding us that unknowing is, in itself, a kind of knowing.

Sometimes

Being unseen

In a particular way

Matters as much as

Being seen

In a particular way"

Lua! Merry Christmas. Here's something I never do...but now I am doing it ...so I guess I do it. Kibbitz on someone else's poem. This poem is so good.

Still I might have said being unseen in a non-particular way. LOL...onward!

Ah, to be seen in non-particular ways!

This is the perfect poetic gift to close the year off Lua and one of my favourite poems that you have shared with us.

It brought back memories of a song called 'The Certainty of Chance' - by This Divine Comedy with emphasis on the word 'uncertainty' vs 'certainty' as being meaningful to me at this junction in my life.

Beautiful. The refrain speaks so directly to where I find myself today. Grateful for your sharing!
